I joined this practice in 2009 and it is by far the best place in which I have worked! This is due to the lovely, supportive, & hard working team we have here.
My main role is to support and manage the staff and systems in order to provide the highest level of service to our patients.
In my spare time, I love reading, keeping fit and enjoying days out with my family.
Reception Team
The reception team of 6 is supervised by Sharon the senior receptionist.
Reception staff attend to patients on the phone and in person. They coordinate and organise appointments and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the Practice, and support delivery of quality patient care. The Reception Staff have a very demanding role. They are there to assist you and we would ask you to be patient during peak times, when the staff have to handle a large volume of calls and enquiries. They will ask you a small amount of personal information about your medical condition – this information is used to ensure your call is dealt with by the correct Clinician and assist fellow Healthcare Professionals who work within the Practice to manage your healthcare and well-being.
Administration Team
We also have an administration team including prescribing clerks – Sue & Amanda, secretaries – Shona & Sue and administration clerks Pat & Bridget.
PCN Staff
We have staff from the PCN regularly working with our team to help deliver your care. They consist of pharmacists and GP assistants. They will explain their role if they contact you directly.
